Carignan

This historic vineyard in Calpella was originally planted in 1912. Rich, savory and meaty, this rustic red is loaded with spicy black fruit and spices. Deep black flavors and spices make for a rustic and soulful red wine that needs a little more time than the luscious 2015 to open up…but when it does, look out for the vibrant red fruit and lively spices that keep this one floating along.
