Estate Sylvaner

We are one of only a few U.S. producers of Sylvaner, a native German white wine varietal originally planted in 1858 by the Dresel Brothers on what is now the Scribe Estate. Today, one acre of Sylvaner vines grow alongside Riesling, in Huichica loam along the base of Arrowhead Slope and into the calcium-rich, volcanic tuff in the flats.
